What is Reborn?

Reborn is a unique class of Dermal Fillers because it is an injected medication which causes the body to produce collagen. The results are not immediate. With each treatment, the patient will notice subtle changes in the fullness of the overall face. The medication works to produce more of the bodies natural collagen, and stay there for longer than any other filler would last. It is most commonly used in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. Reborn can also be used for butt lift procedure for buttocks.

How long will it take?

The whole treatment is about 30 minutes.

Does it hurt?

Each injection is administered through tiny needles. To reduce discomfort, we apply ice before treatment to help distract from the poke of the needle and reduce the risk of bruising. We mix Reborn with lidocaine to ease the injections. The particle size of Reborn is 3-10 microns. I can inject it with 30G or 32G sharp needle or 27G cannula. It is painless.

Is it safe?

With appropriate injection technique, Reborn is very safe and effective.

Are there any side effects?

Reborn can cause swelling, minor bruising and some post injection redness. In rare instances, Reborn can cause a small non visible and painless bump at the injection site.

When will I see results?

Results are not immediate; however, most patients experience swelling, making the injection area appear larger. Some patients see results as early as 4-6 weeks after the first treatment. Those with significant volume loss will see results after multiple treatments.

Can I have Reborn Removed?

Reborn, unfortunately cannot be dissolved, and will naturally break down over time.
